All yarn provided by Wool Interrupted is mulesing free. Happy animals make happy fibre! I dye all of my yarn in Heavy Metal Free dyes that are safe to pour down any drain. I have also perfected a dye method that uses as little water as possible.
Your yarn is dyed per your order and will take 2 weeks from order to shipping if your yarn base is in stock. If I need to restock your yarn then it will take 3-6 weeks to dye and ship. I will let you know if this is the case when I receive your order.
If you order some Stash Yarn along with this order, I will wait and ship all of the yarn at once.
All of the yarn is Handwash Only and please use a Wool Wash (or even Dawn Dish Detergent with the little duck on it). It is gentle enough for your yarn. Your yarn is washed and rinsed after it is dyed to remove excess dye, but the yarn can bleed on first wash. Hence the need for cold water and a gentle wool detergent.
If you are doing colorwork, it is suggested to steam clean your item. This is good practice with all handdyed, colorwork projects.
